“Retreat and Refresh”

TESTIMONIAL

“A huge thank you for a beautiful retreat. It was a magical experience with varied activities throughout the day. I loved the mindful walk to the lake and breathing in the fresh air. The landscape and views were stunning and soulful.

Moreover the dual facilitation worked well, offering diverse knowledge and insights. Useful gems to apply to daily life.

 The food was delicious too.

Tips

My classes are welcoming and friendly and definitely not competitive. Often a ‘newbie’ will apologise for not being flexible. You do not need to be bendy but instead, bring a willingness to be present for yourself during your time in class. Notice your body, how it moves and responds and what works for you and what doesn’t.

What to bring

Please come wearing comfortable breathable clothing; natural fibres are best. You can bring your yoga mat if you have one and a blanket for the relaxation at the end of class. A bottle of water is a good idea, too.

say Hello

I understand how daunting it can be to enter a new space full of people you imagine to be proficient and feel uncertain about what to expect. That first step onto your mat is the hardest so come and say hello to me. I will need to know of injuries, medical treatments and physical issues you currently have so that I bear that in mind when teaching you, offering adaptations to suit you where you are at. This information always stays confidential.

And please tell me your name... I promise I will eventually remember it, even though I might get it wrong in the meantime. You can laugh at me; it’s good not to take ourselves too seriously.
